In my work as a Director I’ve worked on a number of theatre shows including Take Flight, Aidy the Awesome and Tarzanna.

Take Flight by Rebel Sparks Theatre Company
Take Flight is an original early years aerial theatre show for 0-2 year olds and their grown ups from Rebel Sparks Theatre Company. The story follows a mother and baby bird as their baby grows and explores, navigating making friends, overcoming challenges and eventually supporting them to leave the nest and take flight.
This multi-sensory, interactive show ignites the imagination and curiosity of the babies who are then invited into the space with the performers. During the stay and play session the babies can touch, play and explore the set and props, including having a swing in the silks.
I worked closely with development psychologist Dr Valentina Sclafani from Lincoln University to ensure the content is positive for the neurological & motor skills development of babies and encourages a strong connection and bond between babies and their grown ups.

Aidy is a normal 8 year old girl… or so she thinks! One day she discovers a family secret that changes everything. Aidy and her granny embark on an adventure that turns their world upside down.
They even begin to question what normal is. After all, who wants to be normal when you can be SUPER!

Collect samples, dodge alien invasions and delve deep underground. Astrid the galaxy hopper will guide you on your mission as you boldly go where no child has gone before.

Anna doesn’t like mess, she likes things to be in order. But her whole world is turned upside down when she is transported to the Rainforest and discovers wonders she’s never seen before. Wild creatures appear and dance before her as she swings through the jungle of her dreams. But when her new home is put in danger, can she let go and become the wild Tarzanna she needs to be in order save her new found friends?
